Re: ASN.1 of new Z39.50 specification - available online?

This is the version that was submitted for ballot. It isn't identical
to the standard (there were some changes resulting from ballot) but
it's close.

Subject: ASN.1 of new Z39.50 specification - available online?

Hi,

I was wondering if the ASN.1 specifications from the Z39.50-2003 spec
were available online somewhere. I know the PDF of the spec is online
(so I could copy and paste out of that), but I was after an
authorative
copy with all the indentation etc preserved. (Copying out of PDF is a
pain as it tends to loose the indentation etc).

Note: I am after the *exact* ASN.1 text out of the spec. We support
XER, which depends on the precise names used in the ASN.1. A number
of changes have occurred in the ASN.1 around the place, the most
noteworthy being "Origin/Target" -> "Client/Server" (but there are
others!). So I need to check our ASN.1 files carefully against the
current official ones to be Z39.50-2003 compatible.

I note also the files in the spec have a small number of mistakes
(upper case leading letters on a few identifier names, which is
not legal ASN.1).

I looked on the LOC site but could not find them. Google searches
similarly could not find them (easily anyway).

I am hoping to release a new Java Z39.50 client library in the near
future, which has XER support in it. I wanted to make sure it was
XER conformant to the latest spec. I have tried to check our files
by hand, but its so easy to miss one.

Thanks!
Alan
