Hi, A hopefully easy question. In the attribute architecture, is there any expectation to use 'complex' in an attribute list for the semantic qualifier attribute type? In AttributeElement in the Z39.50 ASN.1, you can specify an optional OID, an attribute type (integer), and an attributeValue. The attribute value is a choice of a numeric (which most people use) and 'complex' which is a list of StringOrNumeric plus an optional sequence of semanticAction values. I believe AA semantic qualifiers are unrelated to the 'complex' bit (with its 'semanticAction') in AttributeElement. Is this correct? Thanks! Alan ps: Ray - I have been getting mail OK and not out of order - at least not that I noticed. Could it be some mail gateway closer to you?)
