Dear fellow ZIGgers, Having obtained Ray's permission, I'd like advertise my availability for contract work. I am generally available for hire, at reasonable daily rates, for any design, programming or technical documentation jobs - especially in the fields of Information Retrieval (including Z39.50), language extensions such as Net::Z3950 (perl.z3950.org) and internet-accessible database projects such as zSQLgate. (sql.z3950.org) I'm particularly geared up for distance-working, communicating via email and web-sites; otherwise, I can make meetings anywhere in the UK, but will need my expenses if I'm to travel abroad. My CV is on-line at http://www.miketaylor.org.uk/tech/cv.html Feel free to email me on <work@miketaylor.org.uk> if you have any questions or propositions. References are available from long-time collaborator Sebastian Hammer <quinn@indexdata.dk> if you need them. Or from anyone else on the ZIG list, I guess :-) Thanks, _/|_ _______________________________________________________________ /o ) \/ Mike Taylor <mike@miketaylor.org.uk> www.miketaylor.org.uk )_v__/\ "In general [the Perl operators] do what you want, unless you want consistency" -- Larry Wall et al., _Programming Perl_
