Questions to the ZIG community.

As some of the long time ZIG folks may know, I now spend a lot of time in
analyzing
software aspects of intellectual property, including patents. I've been
collecting a repository
of source code as an archive of technology. This collection would be
available for searching
as what is called 'prior art' in the patent biz.

I have a few questions that I'm soliciting feedback on. If so motivated,
please reply
directly to me.

1.	For a catalog of source code, what fields would you think should be
incorporated to
adequately describe projects and code?

2.	Some comments on a MARC mapping to said catalog data so that this would
be searchable
using common Z39.50 technology.

3.	Do people think this a good/useful idea?

4.	If anyone is interested in submitting to this archive, please let me
know.

Thanks for your attention.
