Back when itemOrder was developed I set up my test server to handle it. So the server at z3950.bell-labs.com:210 should accept an ES request. It will refuse (send back an ES response) for all but itemOrder. It will do a PROMPT-1 accessControl to get your email. Not sure is all still set up but if it is it will send email to the entered address with a description of the requested item; to prove it could have worked. THis was tested and interoperated way back then (1996 I think) - I will look at it if it breaks but no promises of fixes since I have lost interest in that for now... bob -- Robert K.
