Page numbering format

Hi,

I’m currently formatting page numbers with ‘section – page#’ by the following method:
<fo:inline>1 - <fo:page-number /></fo:inline> this is done for around 27 sections

When viewed in bookmarks as thumbnails none of the section info appears as part of the page number. So page number 1 or let’s say 25 will appear again for each section. The current PDFs do show this info but it is created manually.

My question is, is there a way to have the page numbers set as ‘section – page#’ and this will be retrieved by the bookmark thumbnails and any other index that requires page numbers?
