darn, that page-position="last" just doesn't evaluate to true. Tried a bunch of combos of trying to catch correct rules with "rest", "any", "first", dont think its possible. hmmmm, looks like it was a bug reported and "fixed": https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40798 Seems like "only" should work if placed as the first, like so: <fo:repeatable-page-master-alternatives> <fo:conditional-page-master-reference master-reference="patient_pages_master_lastPageIfMultiplePagesOrIfOnePage" page-position="only" /> <fo:conditional-page-master-reference master-reference="patient_pages_master_lastPageIfMultiplePagesOrIfOnePage" page-position="last" /> <fo:conditional-page-master-reference master-reference="patient_pages_master_firstIfMultiplePages" page-position="any" /> </fo:repeatable-page-master-alternatives> but the "only" rule catches both pages in my multipage test for some reason?
