By default, XSLT reads only from one input XML source. But you could use the document() function to read from multiple XML documents. I found Michael Kay's "XSLT Programmer's Reference" quite a good book. PS: The xsl-list (http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list/index.html) is the right place to ask XSLT related questions.
