Thanks for the answer.
I already tried that but the blank page should not contain the page header (which comes from the preceding sequence).
Is there any way to insert just a really blank page OR use the current pagenumber to calculate if a blank page is necessary as i tried with
<xsl:if test="fo:page-number mod 2 = 0">
<fo:block break-after="page">
<xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
</fo:block>
</xsl:if>
??
