I have had problems with overlapping table borders in FOP when I was using it at the end of last year. I think these were when I was using 'border-collapse="collapse"'. FOP did draw borders for each cell - which gave some very confusing and messy results, particularly as I think the border from one cell overlapped the text in another (without borders) on some occasions. I compared the same XSL-FO using RenderX XEP - and it printed correctly (i.e. - as I intended) - so I'm pretty sure the problem was within FOP 0.2.5.
