Hello , I am not sure whether my problem has been already discussed here before. I had a quick look in to the archives and found no matching questions or solutions. here goes my problem .... I have a form with a table layout for transfroming to pdf. I am successfull in doing the complete tranformation. but, what makes me now crazy is to make the exact measurements given for the main table and the small ones inside. The measurements are given to me in cm. First I tried by giving the actual measurements to the table width (in cm) by insisting to use cm as the unit of measurement. The FO file has everything perfect like the way I expected, but when the pdf is got transformed all measurements are taken in its own way. Then I thought PDF has the measurement unit in Points, hence go for converting the cms to points. I did the same by multiplying the cm measurement by 28.35 and generated the pdf. That also looks strange, not what I expected! I would like to know an easy and standard way for adapting the given measurements of a table which gives me the same looks (with correct measurements) in my pdf document. What is the standard measurement unit used in pdf after the transformation? I hope u got what I Am trying to achieve. thanks for the helps regards sudha
