Krysalis Barcode released ============================= The Krysalis Team is proud to announce the first release the Krysalis Barcode (0.9) which is a barcode generation package written in Java. About Krysalis Barcode ========================== Krysalis Barcode is a barcode generation package written in Java and available under The Krysalis Patchy Software License (which is based on the Apache Software License Version 1.1). Krysalis Barcode currently supports the following barcode symbologies: - Interleaved 2 of 5 - Code 39 - Codabar - Code 128 - EAN-8 and EAN-13 (with supplementals) - UPC-E and UPC-A (with supplementals) Krysalis Barcode currently generates SVG barcodes only but the package is designed to be easily extended, for example to provide additional output formats such as EPS, bitmaps or AWT. The package also contains a barcode generator servlet (and a demo web application) as well as an extension for Apache Xalan to generate SVG barcodes for use in XSL-FO documents (tested with Apache FOP).
