Good point and thank you for bringing this to light ... you are correct and
I was wrong. The original poster seemed quite impatient with so many
messages during the day that I found when I returned to my email and I
jumped to an incorrect conclusion trying to fit his documented evidence
with what I was reading.
This morning I am not rushed and I just took time to border an absolutely
positioned block and the border showed up just fine, as you said it would.
I apologize for my misleading comments in the earlier post.
