I continually have problems remembering the resolution of images. For example, when I do a screen capture as a GIF, it is saved at 72pixels/inch ... when I save it as a BMP, it preserves the 72pixels/inch and the image seems too large on the page. When I go back into the BMP and change the resolution to 96pixels/inch, the image prints as I would expect. The commercial tool I use is http://www.lview.com/ for manipulating bitmapped graphics and screen captures. Perhaps this will help. ................
