In which case shouldn't it be part of the transform, xml ->fo's? Yes, but isn't the thread about _how_ to encode it into the FO? I *think* that the implementation of active bookmarks part is pdf specific? E.g. a static ps document couldn't do much with them? What's a static ps document? One man's something is another man's something else...
