link to XSLT stylesheet

We are informed how to utilise CSS stylesheets, with nothing
on using XSLT stylesheets.

Microsoft has a convention, 
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="style/page.xsl"?>

I can't find any W3C advice on this.
Is it within the W3C domain or IETF please?
