XML Schema Primer error, or understanding problem

XML Schema Primer document 

just before the section with the Example myInteger schema 
second sentence in the paragraph contains 

"... whose range of values also includes integers less than 10000 and greater than 99999 ..." 

I understand that the range should be greater-than 10000 and less-than 99999
