http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6735 Summary: List simple types with whitespace != collapse Product: XML Schema Version: 1.1 only Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Structures: XSD Part 1 AssignedTo: David_E3@VERIFONE.com ReportedBy: sandygao@ca.ibm.com QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org CC: cmsmcq@blackmesatech.com The constraint "Derivation Valid (Restriction, Simple)" requires that for a list type D: 2.2.1.2 D.{facets} contains only the whiteSpace facet component. But there is no requirement on the value of the "whiteSpace" facet. Can it be "preserve"? It's not possible to get whiteSpace=preserve if the list type comes from a schema document, but what if it's "born-binary"? -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
