http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=5880 Summary: internationalization of tag names Product: XML Schema Version: Future Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Structures: XSD Part 1 AssignedTo: cmsmcq@w3.org ReportedBy: David_E3@VERIFONE.com QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org The i18n WG has sent email[1] asking if there might be some method for allowing the tags of XSDL to be translated into other languages (making the same request of other W3C XML languages as well). The WG declined to make the "tag mapping" a part of XSDL per se, but did agree to continue discussion of the possibility of developing some mechanism for making this mapping possible after last call.
