Michael Hedenus (<Michael.Hedenus.ext@siemensvdo.com) proposes an alternative
language based on URIs for datatypes to defined some (possibly all?) derived
datatypes.  I cannot find any indication that this has been acted on by the WG,
which needs to do so.
