http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3970 cmsmcq@w3.org changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED Keywords| |editorial ------- Comment #1 from cmsmcq@w3.org 2007-02-24 02:28 ------- Some of the items described in this issue report are addressed in the wording proposals adopted at today's WG call; some are addressed in the pending wording proposal at http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2004/06/xmlschema-1/structures.treetrimming.200702.html (W3C member-only link). Specifically, the WG has agreed to allow arbitrary XPath expressions in assertions. Processors are not required to support all of XPath, only the defined subset, so expressions outside the defined subset will only be supported by processors which support more than the subset. But schema authors can legally write such expressions. Also, a [failed assertions] property is now defined. The remaining items on this list appear to me to be editorial, so I am adding the keyword 'editorial' to this issue and propose to try to address the concerns regarding clarity and nuance in editorial proposals, later.
