Dear List, I was looking up the definitions of xs:float and wanted to click through to "IEEE 754: Standard for Binary Floating-Point Arithmetic". But this reference has moved or disappeared, apparently. Unfortunately, the whole IEEE.org site does not seem to contain a single valid link to the IEEE 754 reference (nor the related 854 reference, by the way). Not sure if you need to adjust it, but surely the references section now contains a dead link. Location of reference section: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#ieee754 Incorrect URL of link: http://standards.ieee.org/reading/ieee/ std_public/description/busarch/754-1985_desc.html Related material at IEEE.org: FAQ: http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/754/faq.html Current revision: http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/754/revision.html On the revision meetings: http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/754/ All these links contain (different) links to the IEEE 754 standard paper, but all these links unfortunately direct to non existing pages. This is appears to me as an error on IEEE side, but nevertheless, I think you ought to know as well ;) Best regards, -- Abel Braaksma http://www.nuntia.com
