There are a number of places where styles have changed between 1.0 and 1.1, but
some text has not been updated.  Also a few places where singular/plural is not
correct, or verb tense, or whatever.   This bug is intended as a holding place
for all such inconsistencies and other minor editorial oops!s.  An add/del
version will be produced for approval before adding the fixes into the status
quo text.
