This item was taken up again and discussed in the face to face meeting of 2004-05-13 (http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2004/05/xml-schema-ftf-minutes.html) but there was no consensus on the proposal. The item was again postponed. According to the requirements document, this topic was discussed in the past and was postponed for later reconsideration.
