http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=2664 Summary: wd-2: "fixed value constraint" based on identity or equality Product: XML Schema Version: 1.1 only Platform: PC URL: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema- ig/2004Jun/0281.html OS/Version: Windows 2000 Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Structures: XSD Part 1 AssignedTo: ht@w3.org ReportedBy: holstege@mathling.com QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org raised on 25 Jun 2004 by Sandy Gao: 2.2 mentions that identity is *only* used for enumeration and identity constraints; and equality is *only* used in conjunction with order (presumably when checking the range facets). But I suppose "fixed value constraint" also needs to use one of these 2 relations. Did we make a decision? agreed on 3 Dec 2004 (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/ 2004Dec/0002.html) RESOLVED Close wd-2 by instructing the editors to treat fixed value constraints the same as enumeration with regards to identity vs equality.
