In 3.3.3.2, the sentence "The ·canonical representation· for decimal is defined
by prohibiting certain options..." is factually incorrect. This is not how the
canonical representation is defined, though it [hopefully] has the same effect
as if it were.
[Suggest change to "The definition of the canonical representation has the
effect of prohibiting certain options...]
