This item (RQ-141d) refers to the whatever changes are needed in the Structures spec to get the two specs in full alignment as regards the definition of anySimpleType and anyAtomicType, the definition of type validity, the XML mapping rules for simple types, etc., etc. At its ftf meeting in August 2005, the WG asked the editors to provide wording to resolve this requirement for considertion at our telcon of 2 September 2005.
