Desideratum:  for each primitive type, (1) supply an explicit grammar
for the lexical space.

Following on from this:  (2) supply formal definition of the lexical
mapping for each primitive or special type.  (The ordinary simple types
won't need one, because they use the lexical mapping of their primitive
type, restricted by their facets.)

(3) supply formal definition of the canonical mapping, too.
