I've been looking around for a mention of PIs and XML Schema together, but have 
failed to find any. Is there any chance that this will be taken into 
consideration for 1.1? It would be really nice to be able to model them (even if 
their occurence location cannot be specified, as I understand that would 
probably complicate things a little too much). Something along the lines of

   <xs:processing-instruction target='foo' type='SomeSimpleType'/>

would be quite useful. Perhaps also a 
processingInstructionProcessDefault/processingInstructionProcess flag would be 
useful, to allow one to say whether any PI declared or not can occur (the 
default) or the contrary, perhaps mimicking xs:any processing. I think that 
should suffice to fulfill all needs.
