The definition of "Union datatypes" in clause 2.5.1 "Atomic vs. list vs. union datatypes" of part 2 "Datatypes" of the schema specification [Definition:] Union datatypes are those whose ·value space·s and ·lexical space·s are the union of the ·value space·s and ·lexical space·s of one or more other datatypes. is unclear. What does "other" refer to? It could be interpreted as meaning that a datatype could be considered a union of itself. I suggest replacing "of one or more other datatypes" with "of two or more datatypes" for greater clarity. Donald Gignac "gignacda@nswccd.navy.mil" 301-227-3348
