Hi, In response to the priority feedback regarding 'local element declarations'. IMHO the ability to map XML Schema's to programming language structures is invaluable! We are looking to use XML Schema's to describe a fairly complex application API reflecting existing program structures (C structures in this case). The correct binding between the structures described in the XML Schema and languages such as Java is very important in this goal. BTW, we are using the Castor tool's implementation of Sun's XML Data Binding specification.
