hello. i think that the first sentence of http://www.w3.org/TR/xlink/#N899 should read "Definition: A local resource is an XML element that participates in a link by virtue of having as its *ancestor*, or being itself, a linking element. " rather than "Definition: A local resource is an XML element that participates in a link by virtue of having as its *parent*, or being itself, a linking element. " however, as i understand it, it would also be possible to keep the definition at it is and let the "local resource" being non-recursive. but if this was the original idea, why is the "having as its parent" part in there? maybe i am misunderstanding something here... cheers, erik wilde - tel:+41-1-6325132 - fax:+41-1-6321035 mailto:net.dret@dret.net - http://dret.net/ computer engineering and networks laboratory swiss federal institute of technology (eth) * try not. do, or do not. there is no try. *
