Hi Andrew, The XML Linking Working Group reviewed your comments [1] on the XPointer second Last Call working draft [2]. They were added to the Issue List as Issue XP103 [3]. The Disposition of Comment for XPointer Second Last Call list [4] them (Issue (patent-watt) in 2.4). Your point was accepted and the Working Group recommends to change the Status of the Document to not imply that Sun Microsystem's patent actually applies to XPointer. However this sentence is in the Status of the Document section so it is under the W3C staff responsability to make this change.
