hello. i know it's after 15. june, but this is a simple editorial issue. please consider rewording this sentence from the introduction. "An information item is an abstract representation of some part of an XML document: each information item has a set of associated named properties." it might be clearer if one were to replace the word "representation" with "description". while the former is true, it also has connotations which run contrary to the purpose of the infoset. it tends to encompass things like a literal xml serialization, which is exactly the concept level which the infoset is supposed to transcend. ...
