Greetings: Dr. Bibi Ephraim (Hewlett Packard) and Samuel K. Kassegne (UC San Diego - Engg Ext) have just released a working draft on Recommendation of Blueberry Revision of XML 1.0 to handle Ethiopic Script. Both are members of the EthiopicXML Interest Group. As per the norms that govern the working of W3C and similar bodies that entertain such proposals, we are requesting public comment and review on the draft. We are hoping to have the public review continue until January 15, 2002. After incorporating comments and suggestions, we further hope to have the document submitted to the W3C XML working group by the third week of January. All online and off-line public comments are welcomed, even though we do prefer to have all communications be done online. Interested parties can also forward the message to any stake holders.
