Hi folks, As Shivaram told me his edits are over and in preparation for the request to publish the XKMS PR, I produced a clean version of the XKMS spec by processing the html:ins and html:del tags. I used an XSLT script, but before applying it, I went thru all those tags to see if they were correctly assigned. There are some minor edits to check (missing spaces in headers mostly). Could you give it a look to compare the clean version[1] against the latest editor's draft[2] to see if something went awry (wrongly placed tages) while cleaning the spec? I checked it myself and it looks good. Shivaram, I think that you forgot to add the new minor error codes to the spec (all those below NotSynchronous). You did so in the schema and in par. [122], but forgot to reflect the change in par. [118]. I added them to the cleaned version, but not to the editor's version. I've an <ins><del> corrected version of it that I would like to publish instead (and I did the changes there). So please don't re-edit your editor's draft yet :) If no one detects any error in the cleaned version, I'll commit the preprocessed version. Note that it isn't valid XHTML because I put <ins> and <del> where they should be, even if the XHTML DTD doesn't allow it. Good news, XHTML2 allows to do so with attributes in any element! I detected some other typos, but before fixing them, let's see if the <ins><del> convertion is satisfactory to everyone. I also think that Section 1.2 should be updated. I like the way that this is expressed in XForms[3], as a non normative appendix, near the end of the spec. We could quote the Former WG participants (up to CR) and then those WG participants + developers (no distinction) that participated in the CR and interop. A SOAP spec. ack. section[4] uses a similar model. Shivaram, could you reserve some time next week, e.g., Tue at our usual teleconf time so that we can work out the last details (if there are any remaining) together? Thanks for all your hard work, -jose [1] http://www.w3.org/2001/XKMS/Drafts/XKMS-PR-PUB/PR-PUB-xkms-part-1.html [2] http://www.w3.org/2001/XKMS/Drafts/XKMS-PR-DRAFT/PR-DRAFT-xkms-part-1.html [3] http://www.w3.org/TR/2003/REC-xforms-20031014/sliceI.html [4] http://www.w3.org/TR/2003/REC-soap12-part0-20030624/
