Dear all,

Occasionally we will have papers in IJSWIS that present a point of view or a vision that can be discussed and debated. An example of such a paper is the article of Sheth et all (2005), which articulates or argues a point of view on the need for a broad variety of semantics (and a particular way to classify these) in Computer Science, Information Systems and Semantic Web Research. We decided to initiate a discussion in our portal.

We invite you to contribute to this discussion. Use this URL and feel free to post your personal point of view and comments:

It is quite possible, even likely, that the readers have alternative views, or wish to present a corroborative or counter perspective. The authors of the paper may periodically review the postings and respond to the comments to promote discussion and honest exchange. If our experiment is successful, we will provide a structured summary of the discussion in a forthcoming AIS SIGSEMIS Bulletin.

Best

Miltiadis D. Lytras
