Hi, Back in May, DAML-S 0.5 was released. As this was not a final cut, it did not contain a specification of all the elements described. In particular it did not describe a grounding. While DAML-S seems like an excellent language to describe web services, without a grounding specification the actual implementation of tools to use DAML-S will be at best non-standard and not interoperable. This seems like a good area to contribute to the discussion of the language and its implementation. To this end I have put together a web page with the following contributions: * a definition of a DAML-S grounding (written in DAML) * a paper describing the motivation and providing an overview of the specification * examples using the specification (following the example in the paper) The URL for the web page is http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~buttler/DAML/ I welcome all comments and suggestions for improvements.
