http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=4421 Summary: Editorial Issues - Part 1 Product: WSDL Version: 2.0 Platform: All URL: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-ws- desc/2007Mar/0057 OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: Core AssignedTo: plh@w3.org ReportedBy: jonathan@wso2.com QAContact: www-ws-desc@w3.org Please find the following editorial issues that I find in Part 1. 1) Why is 1.1 titled "Web Service" ? It does not describe what a Web Service is. It describes in summary on how WSDL describes a Web Service. Perhaps it should be titled "Service Description" or something on those lines . 2) 1.4.5 --> Inlined Schema statement - "An XML schema that is defined in the xs:types element information item of a WSDL 2.0 description." suggestion - It should be "wsdl:types" and not "xs:types". 3) Section 2.1.1 Statement in the spec :- "At the abstract level, the Description component is just a container for two categories of components: WSDL 2.0 components and type system components.WSDL 2.0 components are interfaces, bindings and services. ". Suggestion :- This gives a message that bindings and services exist at the abstract level. Is it true ? Moreover, the first sentence seems to suggest that the later part of the section will go and quote the Description component at the concrete level - which is missing .
