Armed  with the demo [1] I gave remotely at the Cannes F2F, all WG members 
are now capable of kicking the tires for Woden M4. Please provide

[vote] Woden 1.0.0 M4 Candidate







Woden committers, I'd like to request your vote on the status of M4. I've 
placed a Woden 1.0.0 M4 Candidate build at 

http://cvs.apache.org/dist/ws/woden/milestones/1.0.0M4-incubating/

In accordance with the Apache process, yay or nay votes should be returned 
within 72 hours (Thurs. Mar. 9, 11pm EST). 

The Woden M4 candidate includes the major work items from the M4 plan. The 
most notable exclusions are unit tests. Although many unit tests have been 
added in this milestone there are many more that need attention in future 
milestones. The API review and review of non-functional requirements has 
also not yet taken place. There are simply more pressing work items at 
this point. 

Specifically, the following items are complete in the M4 Candidate:

Unit tests for SOAP binding extensions parsing 
Implement validation logic for Service 
Unit tests for validation logic for Service 
Integrate W3C WSDL 2.0 Service tests into Woden test suite 
Create initial user documentation 

The following items are incomplete in the M4 plan:

Unit tests for Description parsing (DOM) - including Documentation, 
Feature, Property 
Unit tests for Types parsing (DOM) 
Unit test for Interface parsing (DOM) 
Unit tests for Binding parsing (DOM) 
Parsing of WSDL 2.0 interface extension (DOM) 
Unit tests for interface extension parsing (DOM) 
WSDL 2.0 HTTP Binding extension (DOM) 
Unit tests for HTTP Binding extension (DOM) 
API review 
Review Woden non-functional requirements
