This message discharges my action item dated 2006-01-26 [1]. The submitter of CR007 [2] is correct on both counts. The paragraph he refers to in section 3.1.3 of part 1 [3] does indeed contain an untagged assertion. Furthermore, the text mistakingly refers to the "constraint attribute information item" when in fact it is an element information item (a child of the property element information item), as can readily be seen in [4]. The proposed action is to rewrite the paragraph in question as follows, and tag its last sentence as an assertion. === BEGIN PROPOSED TEXT === A named, global xs:simpleType or xs:complexType declaration is referenceable from the constraint element information item child of the property element information item. The QName is constructed from the targetNamespace of the schema and the value of the name attribute information item of the xs:simpleType or xs:complexType element information item. A constraint element information item MUST NOT refer to a global xs:element definition. === END PROPOSED TEXT === [1] http://www.w3.org/2006/01/26-ws-desc-minutes.html#action02 [2] http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/desc/5/cr-issues/issues.html#CR007 [3] http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2002/ws/desc/wsdl20/wsdl20.html#references-definitions [4] http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2002/ws/desc/wsdl20/wsdl20.html#Property_XMLRep Thanks, Roberto
