Presumably, we wanted to have them to consider using those instead of their own wsaw:InterfaceName[2]. Note that we define pointers to interface and binding, and they define some to interface, service and endpoint, and ours are WSDL 2.0 specific. I don't see any email about the wsdlx namespace in their mailing list[3]. Did we ever contact them about that? As they are approaching LC with their WSDL document, and we are approaching the end of the review period with ours, it seems like an appropriate time to contact them about it if we didn't do it at the time.
