The W3C TAG has found that the XMLP WG has contravened an architectural principle of the web through its omission of the GET method in its HTTP binding [1]. In response, the WG decided to modify its specification to include GET. This work will likely delay the WG's request for Last Call. The WG has formed the "GETF" (GET Task Force) to do the work, and it expects to have a better idea of the size and form of the modifications at its next telcon (29 May).
