XMLP Status Report, the first day of April 2002. 1. The WG continues to work through its remaining few issues with the aim of going to Last Call within the next few weeks. Of the approximately 14 significant and outstanding issues, the WG has proposals in hand for approximately 8 of them. 2. The WG has started collecting infomation about SOAP 1.2 implementations which will be available on a webpage linked from the WG homepage within a few days. 3. The WG's "Transport Binding Task Force" (TBTF) is drafting text for the WG to evaluate that will ensure the HTTP binding does not preclude schemes involving attachments. 4. The spec editors have started identifying (by URL) different versions of the spec "ed copy"s. The last Ed Copy in March represents a major revision of the spec, incorporating almost all the changes decided by the WG to date. 5. The WG is investigating a new proposal for "Binary Lexical Octet Ad-hoc Transport" [1]. [1] http://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc3252.txt ............................................ David C.
