Proposals for Hosting the 9th International Semantic Web Conference ISWC'2010 **************************************************************************** The series of ISWC conferences are the most prominent international conferences for the Semantic Web. The Semantic Web Science Association (SWSA) http://www.iswsa.org/ is seeking statements of interest for hosting the 9th International Semantic Web Conference ISWC'10. The ISWC conferences are hosted all around the world. Since ISWC'08 will be located in Germany and ISWC'09 will be in the US, locations in Asia and Australia will be preferred for 2010. Information about past and upcoming ISWC conferences may be found at http://www.iswsa.org/iswc.html ISWC 2008 will be hosted in Karlsruhe, Germany, October 26-30, 2008. http://iswc2008.semanticweb.org/ ISWC 2009 will be hosted in the Washington D.C. Area, USA, October 25-29, 2009 http://iswc2009.semanticweb.org/ Please refer to the "Call for statements of interest" at http://www.iswsa.org/SWSA-ISWC-StatementOfInterest.pdf to prepare a bid. There you also find the complete "Call for Bids" for the second phase: http://www.iswsa.org/SWSA-ISWC-Conf-App-Form.pdf Proposals are due by September 9th, 2008 and should be sent to studer@aifb.uni-karlsruhe.de SWSA will ask some pre-selected proposers to come up with a complete bid for hosting ISWC'10 and for presenting the bid at the SWSA meeting in Karlsruhe during ISWC'08. Timeline: September 9, 2008: Statement of Interest September 16, 2008: Notification about selected statements of interest October 15, 2008: Complete bid for selected statements of interest Final decisions will be made by SWSA during ISWC'08.
