THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL - DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS (2 Posts) £19,460 - £29,187 pa To work on a new EU-funded project, aimed at pioneering the use of knowledge technologies (ontologies, agents, etc) to enhance and extend architectures and design of Grid computing systems. You should have a PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines, preferably with a strong emphasis on one or more of the following areas: Multi-Agent Systems, Ontologies and Semantic Web, Grid Computing. You will join the internationally recognised Agent ARTresearch group in the 5-rated Computer Science Department. The posts are available for 18 months initially, to be extended for up to 3 years, subject to review.
