(Note my review was limited and focussed around the correctness of the RDF/XML, and took only five or ten minutes). I was impressed at the clarity with which Mike explained things that he has only just learnt (like the use of entities in XML). Jeremy === Minor corrections (suggest: editorial descretion), open questions, in document order. s/complex URIs/long URIs/ <!DOCTYPE rdf:RDF PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD OWL 1.0//EN" ?? I don't know about the PUBLIC ID there, looks dubious assuming we haven't registered it. The atatched file you sent me just omitted it - probably safer. Is that URN statment correct? Yes Dublin Core namespace is <!ENTITY dcns 'http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/'> xmlns:dc="&dcns;" (see http://dublincore.org/2002/08/13/dces# in which this namespace is declared - Peter's worries are unfounded). [@@ Check syntax of datatype reference. ] ask www-rdf-comments and embarrass me - I don't think RDF Core has an answer yet. In the editors draft of rdf concepts we say: << The datatype URI refers to a datatype. For XML Schema built-in datatypes, URIs such as <http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#int> are used. The URI of the datatype rdfs:XMLLiteral may be used. There may be other, implementation dependent, mechanisms by which URIs refer to datatypes. >> your example is covered by the unsatisfactory last sentence. Like the rest of the datatyping stuff we have to publish now and fix on the next version. Could change the comment to "Awaiting input from RDF Core on syntax of datatype reference" That's it.
