Dear Friends


Barring unforeseen developments, I am scheduled to undergo extensive surgery next week. This will render me unable to participate in the telecons for several weeks until the healing process is complete. The surgery is intended to enable me to overcome a condition that has sapped my strength and impeded me from working at my full capabilities -- I look forward to rejoining the working group some time in November with renewed vigour, and being able to participate in future face to face meetings.
