WOW-G members: In earlier email [1], I explained that in this WG we wouldn't worry about alternate vs. principal designations. A couple of member organizations have requested that they would, however, like to have a main participant and a secondary one, with the latter not attending telecons, f2fs, etc.; but tracking the discussion and participating within the organization. This is fine, but it would help if we could know where this is the case. We will designate some people in the webont home page as "*ALT" meaning they will not be called during attendance on telecons, and it will help us to know how many people to plan for at various points in the process -- note that alternates are still allowed to participate, but it means we will have lower expectations and won't "yell" at them. So, please let me and Dan know if you want someone (including yourself) designated as an alternate. We are in the process of cleaning up the lists and updating the membership roles, so please do this ASAP (designations can be added or changed later on) thanks Jim H.
