From my perspective the behavior should be identical as to what is defined for single scope i.e. I believe all the other aspects of a search request (select, where, orderby, etc) should behave the way they have been defined for single scope. However I can see scenarios wherein it would definitely be useful if the user can specify the ability to group results by scope. prakash >In one of your mails you mentioned that I should make a proposal for section >5.4. If section 5.4 is supposed to allow multiple scopes, it will need to define precisely how this affects the search results. For instance, a reader may think that it is acceptable to just process individual requests against each of the scopes, and then to concatenate the response elements for a common multistatus result.
